Hello, Parents & Families! We are excited to announce that today we are starting the Domino’s Pizza Fundraiser. The money raised will go towards Teacher Appreciation Events held throughout the year. Here is a video that will explain everything you need to know about the program! The remaining eight videos should be watched throughout the course of the two weeks: The Slice the Price Card: Fundraising Made Easy - Day 1 Let’s begin by checking out your school’s dashboard: https://dash.dominos.cards/43766 Scroll down to the section “Register to Pick Your Prize” or click here https://register.dominos.cards/43766. Once you register, your child will be able to pick their prize and share their very own store link! Once the fundraiser is complete, they will receive the prize they selected from the highest level they qualify for. After registering, share your child’s link via email, text, and social media! When a customer clicks on your link it will take them directly to your child’s store to purchase a card and we will send the card directly to them. Using your personalized link will ensure your child is given credit for the purchase. Also, once you register you will have two chances to earn a $50 Amazon card! The registered student with the most cards sold by 9/23/24 at 11:59 p.m. EST will win a $50 Amazon gift card (when our group sells at least 100 cards online). For questions, please call the hotline number: 866-252-6103 Thank you for participating and supporting our school! Westwood Booster Club

Good morning! We have a Report to the Public we share every year; we thought it would be helpful to share it via video so our families and community members can watch it at your convenience. This video has information about our school, what we teach, how we assess, safety, and more! Once you view it, please complete the google form with your name, students' names (if applicable), and we would love it if you would share any questions/concerns/ideas. We also have a spot for you to indicate if you would like us to contact you and the best way to do so. Thanks for learning more about Westwood! https://app.screencastify.com/v3/watch/9BekRwZVw1wtLZI8Jg3U https://forms.gle/iAmhrRBN7d8Dv9YW6

This Week in Westwood EAST Our 2nd graders began their 3D printing journey with designs in Tinkercad! Meanwhile, our 5th graders participated in a Zoom session alongside other Springdale EAST programs to learn about waste removal, recycling, and more. The session was hosted by Justin Taylor from the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District. This ties into Springdale EAST’s Quarter 1 service project, themed: "What A Waste." #SpringdaleFamily

Every Friday afternoon, as the school week draws to a close, our Student Safety Patrol takes on the important responsibility of lowering the school flag. This weekly ritual is a reminder of the values our school holds dear. A big shout out to our CSSO, Mr. Ranger, for teaching our Wolves about honor and respect. #SpringdaleFamily

This Week in Westwood EAST EAST students took on the role of mayor, managing a year-long budget for their city. Armed with budget dollars (Smartie Candies!), they had to allocate funds to the sectors they believed were most crucial to their city's success. After making tough decisions and passing on some important projects, disaster struck, forcing them to reallocate funds. Students quickly realized that being a mayor is a much harder job than they expected, and it can be frustrating—especially when you can’t put all the money toward animal projects! A special thanks to our Westwood family for sponsoring so many books for this year's Christmas Bags!
