Parson Hills Elementary

My name is Heather Cooper, and this is my 10th year as principal at Parson Hills. My work is not just a job for me but I truly feel this is the path God has placed me on to give back to my community. I love our Panthers, their families, and our staff. I'm blessed beyond measure to be a part of the Parson Hills school family. I was an Assistant Principal and an Instructional Facilitator at George Elementary in Springdale before coming to Parson Hills. I was also an elementary teacher in Bentonville and in Missouri before coming to work in Springdale. Outside of work, I love spending time with my personal family. I have been married to Charles Cooper for 26 years, and we have an amazing son, Zachary Cooper. We love to adventure outside as a family. Some of our favorite things to do are to camp/travel, kayak/canoe, hike, jeep, and sit around the table to eat, play games, and laugh together, especially at grandma's house. We also have a dog, Ventu, who we love greatly, and he is the most handsome boy but also very ornery, so he keeps us entertained and on our toes. We sure love hanging out with him too. He's so sweet and so much fun. I love my family big, as we like to say at the Cooper house, we love each other to the sun and back infinity times. Our family motto is work hard, play hard, and pray harder, and we try to live each day accordingly. That's about it for me, my personal family and my school family just about sums up my life, and I love it.

I am so excited to be a part of Parson Hills Elementary school this year! I graduated from the U of A with a BFA in studio art with an emphasis in ceramics and printmaking, and returned to get my art teaching certification in 2019. I am a mom to an almost fourth grader (Lydia) and we love to garden, paint, and collect eggs from our backyard chickens! I cannot wait to bring my art experience to the students of Parson Hills Elementary!

Hi Parson Hills families! My name is Stefanie Goseland, or Mrs. G for short. I am the resource teacher, and this is my first year teaching. My husband, 10-year-old daughter and I live in Springdale. I am a University of Arkansas alumni and a big Razorback fan, Go Hogs!! We love watching Razorback football, basketball and baseball. I have two dogs and one kitten. My family and I like to travel all over, especially to Colorado. I love going to the mountains! I am so excited to be at Parson Hills helping students learn and grow!

The third week of school saw the beginning of our all new Wednesday Club Day! So much excitement from the students and the teachers. Clubs were centered around technology, athletics, dance, card and board games, art, culture, and so much more! Can't wait for club week #2!

My name is Emily White and I am so thankful to officially be part of Springdale Public Schools! I have a Masters degree in Middle Level English, and am licensed for K-6. I am a first year teacher in 5th grade at Parson Hills Elementary, but I have spent the last 5 years working in various contexts for SPS. I have two amazing boys, Graham and Hudson who attend Hellstern and Shaw, respectively. We live with my extremely supportive and loving boyfriend, John. We have three dogs and I love spending time with them outside! As a Springdale native, I feel it is important to serve and support the children in my community. I have the best 5th grade team, and I am looking forward to an awesome school year!!
