Looking for something fun to do this summer? Join us as Springdale celebrates America's 250th anniversary with a full lineup of events for all ages! From story times and parades to Black Hawk helicopters, concerts, fireworks, classic cars, and community celebrations, there's something for everyone. Help celebrate Springdale's past, present, and future as we seal a time capsule to be opened on July 4, 2076.

Stars, Stripes & Steel: Touch-a-Truck/Aircraft
Springdale Municipal Airport
Get up close with two Arkansas Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopters, emergency response vehicles, heavy equipment, and specialty trucks from local, county, and state agencies. Meet the crews, explore the vehicles, enjoy food vendors and Kona Ice, and experience this free hands-on event for all ages.

We are so excited to help our #SpringdaleFamily stay healthy and fueled up this break! Springdale Public Schools is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Seamless Summer Option program to serve meals free of charge to all children 18 and younger. Note: Children do not need to be students of Springdale Public Schools to participate.

Congratulations to our 5th Grade students for winning the May Attendance Challenge with outstanding attendance all month long! 🎉 To celebrate their hard work and commitment to being at school each day, all 5th graders enjoyed popsicles as their reward! 🍦☀️

A special shoutout goes to Ms. Rhyne’s class for having the BEST attendance in the entire school during May! 🏆 As their class reward, the students got to cover Ms. Rhyne in tattoos — and they definitely made the most of it! 😂⭐

East is working on yearbooks for our 5th graders!

Each year our EAST students at Parson Hills visit Hot Springs for our annual EAST Conference. This year, the theme for the conference was "Our Greatest Hits", celebrating the amazing work our students have completed throughout the year. We have also taken a look at some of our amazing projects that we have completed over the past several years. We are so excited to announce that this year we received the award for "Voices of EAST Podcast Competition", as well as a Judges Choice Award for our project presentations. Congratulations to Suhan Garcia, Zariah Rogell, Meilah Phanphengdee, and Genesis Castellanos for how they represented our school as well as our EAST program. Go Panthers!

Parson Hills Elementary School in the Springdale Public School District plans to apply for the 21st Century Community Learning Grant for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This grant will support academic enrichment and academic learning for students. If you have any questions regarding this grant, please call the school office at 479-750-8877.
