To the Springdale Community,
Student and staff health and safety is the number one concern of Springdale Public Schools. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary of Education Johnny Key recommend school districts in counties without a presumptive case remain open in order to not disrupt community life, especially meal services for children and health services for all. The CDC guidance on COVID-19 is that short to medium duration school closings are not recommended. The major request is for good judgment be in place for hygiene for all students and staff along with social distancing. Springdale Public Schools will remain open.

Today our Parson Hills SFLP class celebrated the birthdays of two of our students! We love to celebrate!
Come and join our class. We meet in room 111 at Parson Hills Elementary, Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-11:00am.

Families: Next week will kick off our annual Kindness Week at Parson Hills! Your students will receive a Kindness Challenge from their teacher, but we encourage you to help them complete some acts of kindness, too! The class that completes the most acts of kindness will get a kindness in return...a pizza party! The Junior Edition is for K-2 and the School Edition is for 3-5. Check it out below!
Don't forget about the dress up days, too! Monday will be HAT DAY!
Thanks for spreading KINDNESS!
