Please let your teachers know of any issues with your Chromebook. Your teacher can then call down to Mr. Rowe, our Tech Manager, and he can assess the issue. If your issue needs further attention, Mr. Rowe will have you bring your Chromebook to Room 802! He will then create a Helpdesk ticket for you, repair your CB, and/or talk to you about any fees.
Students need to only use their assigned Chromebook, and Chromebooks are to be returned to their CB cart every day.
Students are not allowed to take Chromebooks home at GJHS. Disciplinary action will be taken for students who do not comply with these guidelines.
If for any reason a Chromebook is damaged, lost, destroyed, or stolen*, during the time that it is issued to the student, regardless of whether the student is at fault, the student will be responsible for the following fees to help offset the actual replacement costs to SPS:
For the first occasion, a fee of $25.
For the second occasion, a fee of $50.
Any following repair, actual repair cost.
*Lost / stolen technology will accrue actual replacement cost and will require a police report.
